Our last week

Aaron and I've been dating almost exactly a year now, and he's been wonderfully supportive of all my efforts to blog, which to most people just look like fits of untamed vanity. He's my favorite thing on planet earth, and I'm really going to miss him! Did I mention I have an internship in NYC this summer?! But more about that later. So, we went to our spot today, a little off the beaten path in saginaw forest ann arbor. Enjoy scrolling! Hearts!

Back to the Roots

I love fashion. I love presentation, grace, elegance, and individuality. I love weird, out there, and triple take looks that you remember.  I believe that the way you present yourself to the world-made up and decked out in your most confident look- is more representative of who you are than what you look like in sweats, sans cosmetics. We are our own canvases, and what we put on, in and around them makes us who we are. Having said that, I think it's also important to stay true to who you are. The world of social media, fashion blogs in particular, are filled with glorious and inspirational fashion senses and presentations. I spend SO much time drooling over other peoples blogs because of how they publish themselves. So perfect. For example, elle-may has this wonderful blog with this quirky down to earth style I WISH I could replicate, and Konstantina is a woman from greece who just has the most impeccably polished style with JUST the right bit of edge. DROOL. Finally there's Megan St.Claire who just absolutely rocks vintage. Best. Shoot. Sites. Ever.
Anyway, my point is that I appreciate all of these women, and their wonderful presentations, but I think over the course of the several months I've been blogging, I've lost a little of my own individuality in appreciation of others. I've lost a little bit of Bella, and it's time to get her back. Time to get back to the roots, and Love what I love without comparing it to others. Get ready for menswear, bitches. <3

Thank you so much for reading, if you even got through all that. Happy scrolling, Hearts!

Pajama's or not Pajama's, that is the question.

Hey all! MAH SHOES ARRIVED. I'M SO HAPPY! I love every single pair more than I thought I would, and this pair is most certainly my favorite. Not only are they badass, but they're also comfortable. How? How does that happen? Dark magic, obviously. It was a rainy, unseasonably cold day yesterday, so I went for comfort. I'm still feeling out how well I like the "Pajama's and lingerie are now considered clothing," trend, so I thought I'd take it for a ride. Honestly? It's kind of the best. Happy scrolling, Hearts!

Food date with Man friend :)

Sometimes, burgers and fries are better than heels. Crop tops be damned, deep fried potato may be my soul-mate.

Onechainz

I actually love the idea of body chains, but I'm still figuring out how to wear them... I found this one on sale at Pitaya, but I'm going to go hunt for more. I think I should consider wearing them UNDER the crop top instead... Maybe. Take notes from Rihanna or something... Enjoy scrolling! Hearts!

Sapientiam

There's been so much going on lately that I completely dropped the blogging ball. I keep meaning to post, it just never really pans out... I promise to get back on track! Summer is here and I couldn't be more excited, or terrified. Baring winter abs in crop tops is going to be a test of my bravery. Maybe that last little debbie wasn't such a good idea... :/ In the meantime, I found this awesome lace shirt, thrifting of course. It looks like someone decided to compile a grandmothers collection of lace coasters. I love it. Happy scrolling, Hearts!

Aphrodite's war.

Absolutely completely obsessed with spring 2014 Dolce and Gabbana hair. If I could perfectly envision aphrodite going to battle, this is what it would look like. The perfect combination of fragile beauty and the subtle reminder of edge, and intention. I stalk these pictures, so I figured I'd reblog them! I stole these off Tumblr like a thief in the night (again) so these images are by no means mine...Enjoy scrolling! Hearts!

Here are some gifs of Dolce Models being Glittery and wonderful. *sigh* SO MANY JEWELS.

I finally got the shoes, and I couldn't love them more.

I'm so beyond excited about these shoes. I'm going to sleep in them, I'm going to take them to dinner and buy them a steak. Seriously considering buying them jewelry. They're technically Deena and Ozzy, from Urban outfitters but they're knockoffs of Ann Demeulemeester, who is a goddess. The outfit itself isn't anything special, but these shoes needed to be shared! I'll post something better with them later. Hearts!

Some things just need to be seen pt. 2

A lot of people have a problem with over advertising a brand on clothing. I can understand when that judgement falls on Boy London plastered 300 times on a sweatshirt, or Abercrombie and Fitch Est. 19-whenever they rose from hell. That would bug me. However, it only bothers me because the brand has so little valuable history. Keep in mind this is my opinion. Chanel, Dior, and many other fabulous names don't deserve the same annoyance. When I see the double C, I don't think "Oh god. Could you just not?!" I think, well hot damn Coco was one firecracker of a lady. Good on them.

Just thought I would share. Here's some beautiful Chanel, and a bit 'o McQueen 'n Lacroix.
